Sunday Gathering

Worship with us.
We’d love for you to join us at Oikos Church!
Whether you're new to church or looking for a spiritual family to call home, our Sunday Gathering is a great place to start. We gather not just as an event, but as a family—around God’s Word, at Jesus’ table, and with one another.
When we gather.
Sundays at 10:00am
Arrive a few minutes early to find a parking spot, grab a coffee and some Gibson’s donuts, and find a seat. We’re ready to welcome you!

First Sunday of the month
We gather in homes with our Oikos Groups for worship on the first Sunday of each month. One group will host brunch and worship at The Gathering Place at 10:00am for anyone not yet plugged into a group.
Where we gather.
The Gathering Place at Oikos Church
674 Stratford Rd Memphis TN 38122

We’re located in the center of Shelby County, TN. Parking is available around the building. Enter at the front entrance.
What to expect.
Worship & Prayer. Our worship is acoustic by design—we want to hear each other’s voices. We love congregational singing and believe worship is something we do together, not something we watch. It’s not a performance; it’s participation. We also make space for prayer in many forms: written liturgies, community prayers, and moments of personal reflection and confession. Whether you’re full of faith or just learning to pray, there’s room for you.

Scripture & Teaching. We love the Word of God. Our teaching is expository, rooted in Scripture and its context. We trust that the Spirit of God speaks through His Word to form us as a people. (link to teachings)

The Table. Every week, we come to the Lord’s Table to receive communion. This is the heart of our gathering—where we remember Jesus, share in His presence, and respond in gratitude.
You don’t have to believe everything we do to belong here. Bring your doubts, your questions, and your story. Whether you're exploring faith or have been following Jesus, there’s a seat for you at the Table.

Oikos Kids. We’re convinced that multigenerational church life is key to lasting faith. We also believe it’s essential for kids to learn the story of God and the ways of Jesus in age-appropriate ways. So, families worship all together at Oikos, and then we break for an intermission when kids and youth head to classes for BIble teaching. Learn more HERE.
What to wear.
Dress however you’re comfortable. We’re more interested in your presence than your outfit.
