What does Oikos Mean?
Oikos is a biblical word that means home or family. It captures who we are, our life together, and our ways of being in the world. Put simply, Oikos is home.
OIKOS IDENTITY:
We Are God's House.
The New Testament uses oikos to refer to our spiritual identity. We are God’s house, an oikos indwelt by the Holy Spirit for worship (Eph. 2:19; 1 Tim. 3:15; 1 Pet. 2:5).
